I love to share my passion for gardening with the knowledge about how the body works. I worked as an elementary school educator and a fitness professional. I connect the physical and mental benefits of gardening with best practices; protecting our joints, preventing injuries, optimizing our time in the garden, and creating more relaxation and enjoyment. Gardening is good for us, body, mind and emotions. The goal of this program is to produce Long Lasting Gardeners by learning tips and strategies, and other healthy ways to enjoy the garden. Learn a variety of ways to work in the garden that provides more ease. This program aims to find balance. Our garden is always changing and so is our body.
Susan is an educator and conscious movement coach. The pandemic has brought about some changes and Susan has currently retired from teaching fitness classes. Her experience is in dance, senior fitness classes, Tai Chi for Healthy Aging, and Nia Cardio Fitness. These mind- body programs keep your brain and body healthy. Susan has been gardening her own plots since 1985 and worked on an organic farm. She is active in her local garden club.
