I love to share my passion for gardening with knowledge about how the body works. I worked as an educator and as a fitness professional. I connect the physical and mental benefits of gardening with best practices; protecting our joints, preventing injuries, optimizing our time in the garden, and creating more relaxation and enjoyment. Gardening is good for us, body, mind and emotions. The goal of this program is to produce Long Lasting Gardeners, aging gracefully, and learning natural, healthy ways to enjoy the garden.
Susan is a conscious movement coach and educator. She is certified in teaching group fitness classes; senior exercises; Tai Chi for Healthy Aging; Nia Cardio Fitness; and Ageless Grace. These mind- body programs keep your brain and body healthy. Susan has been gardening her own plots since 1985 and worked on an organic farm. She is active in her local garden club.
